Well it's valentines day tomorrow so with all the romantic vibes i thought i'd go for a bit of a classic hottie today... and after watching the BAFTA's last night this guy does just get hotter with age... He may be double my age but this silver fox has wowed us as everything from a doctor to Batman. He returned to our screens this week in 'the descendants' i am looking forward to seeing this- that way i can imagine that im back in hawaii again- with george clooney- paradise just got better! So i was on my way home last week and got stuck at old street roundabout... annoying! However little did i know the hold up was for the filming of James Bond... the hotness that is Daniel Craig! Then again he was filming in spitalfields a few days later! So my new mission is to pounce on this guy at some point... dare he come back east side! He is not so obviously hot as the men we have seen in the previous few weeks but there is something about 007 that always has us going... i also almost fancied him as much as i did Rooney Mara in 'Girl with the dragon tattoo' anyway enjoy... and sorry for the lateness this week... hope it was worth the wait xxx

I have decided to spread my knowledge outside of the world of the hot man this week and bring you some of my favourite things in land of coats and jackets. After scouring all of the pre-fall catwalks i have pulled out the key styles that we all need to get our hands on for these FREEZING cold nights!! With the key notes being textured wools and luxurious rich colours, my favourite style has definitely been the biker... it has started to come through this winter and will be sticking around for sure! I love the longer styles...

And we are seeing the good old crombie again... love the oversized textured one from Kenzo..

I had a bit of trouble this week finding a hot man to match the likes of Jon Kortajarena... he almost deserved to have it two weeks in a row... but whilst again perving on the hotness of milans models last week this hottie also came up... New addition to the STITCH UP TEAM! It was only a matter of time these bitches come to their senses and give in to their penis envy. I joke I joke, I kid I kid.

The lovely ladies have officially introduced some saucisse to their group. That is where I come in..Andrew Demetry. A hyper-sensitive emotional wreck with a great attention to detail.. I hope these girls know what they've signed up for.

So where do we begin? Ms. Jenny Bourne has already set the bar high with her hotty patoty 'Hot Man Monday' so I mustn't disappoint.

Before we start, listen to this to get you in the mood for some fashion penetration.

Now that we've seduced by prince let me tell you some amazing news.. On the 22nd of January, Dylan Jones, Editor of GQ, announced that this year will be the first year that we will have MEN'S LONDON FASHION WEEK. The confirmed dates are the 15th-17th of June!

This will be a great chance for London to celebrate the potential within Men's wear and we will hopefully see some amazing outcomes of this. I HAVE FAITH!

Hopefully this will allow men to be more experimental with their clothing and introduce some balls to menswear...here's hoping.

It seems we haven't quite reached the top just yet or we would have received our invitation to the Chanel launch for the Numéros Privés installation at the Wynn Hotel, Vegas. The French fashion house arranged private jets to collect the select few models, celebs and fashionistas from LA and New York, stars included Jessica Alba looking stunning yet playing it safe in classic Chanel Monochrome, Rachel Zoe and Diane Kruger.

The 8 day event features a replica of Coco Chanel's Paris apartment, a room covered in quilted leather walls; a homage to the classic 2.55 bag and a room filled with games, goodies and a claw machine!

Ms Zoe, get me something pleeease!

Music was supplied by Imelda May and our very Own Alexa Chung, who we've seen DJ at the Bath house so i guess we're half way there!?

After looking through menswear fashion week in milan at work i was spoilt for choice on a hot man monday this week... it was cheekbones galore but i think i have managed to find one of our hottest yet!! I actually had trouble choosing from the vast amount of hot pictures of this man. Weekend must's .. The Saatchi

This Weekend has been so cultured and inspirational perfect start to a successful year for Stitch Up London 2012!

A must do is to visit the new location of the Saatchi gallery - yes this has been there for years now! It is located on Kings Road prime location n the most stunning building.

The collection is vast with a mix of art from sculptures, installation, paintings and youth art.

The highlight of the collection was to see the reflective oil installation of Richard Wilson WOW I can't believe I got to see this amazing artist again! as many of us know this was an original installation at the old Saatchi location on the south bank that i visited nearly 8 years ago. A must see please go!

Other great artists viewed below were Isa Genzken - the best boutique ever made of the most wonderfully weird items, loving the shrimp!!

Totes Christmas week has arrived!! It all kicks off Saturday at 1pm with live music starting at 3pm and antics going on to late!!
Come on down to preview our first collection, see what we have been working soo hard on over the last few months and to make some xmas purchases. Food will be on offer in the form of scrumptious stew by the Poachers Pocket fellas and an array of cake by the uber talented Eggs and Bakie!!

Other stall holders include furniture by Donna Walker, Jewellery by Grace du Prez and Di does Vintage, Patchwork Monsters by Stacey Green, an abundance of vintage, raincoats, socks and much much more!! A Banquet by Mr Lagerfeld

Wow was all a managed for a good 5 minutes after seeing this feast of a show by Mr Lagerfeld himself. The Chanel Paris-Bombay Metiers d'Art show was held at the Grand Palais Paris yesterday. Before even looking at the clothes I was blown away by the scene; a banquet fit for a King adorned with candelabras, perfectly circular bouquets and a moving train carrying a crystal decanter! what more do we need!? was my first question and then the models glided in bedecked in jewels! This collection is definitely about the accessories, head wear, bangles, clusters of entangled chains..simply WOW! take a look for yourselves!

Nice and early for you on our first December morning... So whilst searching for something to listen to this weekend when putting up our Christmas tree I came across the video for the Victoria Secret fashion show which was aired last week in the US. Random I know…. However…. the stunning underwear models were not the only hotties on the catwalk. They were joined by Maroon 5 singing live onstage . I have to say I have never realised how HOT front man Adam Levine is!!! Especially when I discovered this weeks picture haha!!! This will definitely warm you up on this frosty December morning!!! So this week it was our very own Natasha's birthday so what better treat then to see Lianne La Havas at Studio private; one of the most intimate gig spaces in London.
If you haven't heard this girls voice then WOOWZA get on it now, she is our new favourite girl crush; extremely lovely too!, Natasha and I couldn't help but get a cheeky (drunk looking) pic and pass on the deets to Totes Christmas....you never know!! :D

A highlight to the evening was Lianne's support act Peter and Kerry, beautiful folk style tunes that had us completely hypnotised, they even did a fab twist on Amerie's R&B classic "one thing".... listen to this folks..

The joys of London!

On Thursday I took the day off from my other Job to visit my favourite London market. There is nothing that makes me smile more then a wonder, a rummage and a great find at Spitalfields Antiques Market. The atmosphere is completely different to a bustling Sunday afternoon, full of treasures and trinkets that would entice a pirate or two!

There are many stalls selling anything from vintage clothing, jewellery, kitchen utensils, old books, art and many things which to some maybe junk but to others a great find!

I purchased this cameo ring for a fiver and a gold watch which I love!

I also got some fab bits for "Totes Christmas" but i guess you will have to come down on the 10th December to find out more!

Affordable Art Fair

Soo while Jenny and Nash were Wo-manning Netil i found myself creatively inspired at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park. There was an abundance of beautiful work on display.. here is a summary of some of my faves!

When first entering the fair i was instantly gripped by the work of Penelope Kenny. Her work looks at the close relationships between human and animals by exploring ideas of evolution and hybrids. The way she creates non-existent creatures really makes her message clear.

The Tree of Modified Life, 2011. Screenprint on Fabriano 5 300 gsm paper. 100x70 cm, edition of 20.

Another highlight was the amazingly detailed oil paintings by Vasilis Avramidis. His delicate creations play around with the idea of perception and force you to thoroughly explore his pieces.

Be right Back, 2011, 40 x 60cm, Oil on Canvas

I was really intrigued by the work of Jeremy Dickenson; reminded me of a more innocent time and there was a lot of interest in this particular piece

Crosstown Superball Wall Map (M116: Duke Ellington Blvd to 2009

One of my biggest Passions artistically has always been Collage, i love the mishmash of ideas that may not necessarily sit together but work in order to create a completely new visual, so you can imagine my excitement when i saw these pieces by Juan Pajares...

One of my favourite pieces of the day was this pieces by Sonia Aniceto, she uses a mix of media on top of Oil on canvas. I adore the stitch detail

So Saturday 22nd we had our first stall at Netil Market (28 Westgate Street, E8), just up from Broadway market. We had wicked day with a range of stalls from upcycled baby grows, to vintage, to hand painted artworks of Cher below we have put up some of our favourites.

This Thursday the Stitch Up Collective visited 1st Thursday on Vyner Street, which for you that don't know strangely happens every first thursday of the month!! It is a free art event in East London where art studios open their doors to preview their latest art work and exhibition.

It is a great night to network and meet new creative people but also to get inspired from the amazing art on show ... heres what i found:

The above collection 'Auerbach to the Future' was created by Sophie Derrick. This was her debut solo exhibition where her inspiration came form expressionist painter Frank Auberbach.

Stitch Up London loved the depth of acrylic used on top on these prints creating 3-Dimension, pattern and striking colour mix. One to watch!

X-Factor!! Couldn't resist! don't forget to watch it tonight ... preview of each contestants new look! Great inspiration fir fashion, make-up & totes music!

Street art/ Graffiti call it what you like but to Stitch Up London it is art especially when show cased on the street. This will be the setting for our next photo shoot in East London, focusing on shooting our clothes in local surroundings keeping our company real and urban. Save the date for our press launch show casing our latest photo shoot and catwalk on 12th November 2011.

Stitch Up London have seen this collection for before at 1st Thursday as I'm sure some of you regular visitors have too, We were glad to see it again as you can see above it is always a popular collection.
The prints are so random and energetic which is some thing Stitch Up London tries to incorporate into our collection. Energy fuelled colourful textiles prints is definitely a trend to focus on we think!

Live Art - WOW - crazy! Loved the energy though!

The above 4 images showcased a new studio I had never found seen before, it was a great space with a wide variety of artist (including live art!) Loved the magazine tear 3D pieces above, multi coloured and textured amazing!

Added for contrast, black and white classic geometric patterns seemed to be inspired from urban living and architecture.

Yesterday Karl Lagefeld took us to the depths of the ocean and back again with a stunning collection for Chanel S/S12. The collection was an abudance of all things tactile and aesthetically mesmerising! Heavily textured panels were juxtaposed with delcate prints and embeliishment detail,while jellyfish-like fabrics shimmered against opaque tones and soft chiffons. Gorgeous knits and a sprinkle of classic chanel pearls finished off this truely magical collection and if that isn't enough the catwalk was graced with the lung of Florence Welch rising from a giant shell! oh to be there...

The stunning book Fairy Tales by Viktor and Rolf was released yesterday and will be a definite StitchUp purchase!

Pleats, Sweethearts and Midriffs were all a go go at the Prada Show. The collection is playful, cheeky and a whole lot of fun! We love the Marylin-esque swimming costumes and the dropped shoulder oversized crochet coats mixed with cutsie Bandeaus in fun child-like prints and leather pencil skirts to add an varsity edge!
